I also find this funny because I think I played D&D like twice when I was in High School. I picked it back up at 30 and I have a group of friends that plays at least once a month. I'm with Patton, it's weird to be a noob to D&D at 30 and explain to your wife how much you love it.

It's a pity his wife harassed him for playing D&D instead of getting into the game. My husband and I are both gamers, and run campaigns for each other -- we just celebrated our 20th anniversary. The couple that plays together stays together.  :)
