People get lost hiking in France all the time.
All French routes are marked with the same red and white markers.
If you miss a numbered marker, you could be walking for miles down a wrong trail without noticing.
There's no excuse for getting lost on Caminos.
There are yellow arrows pointing where to go.
If there's not an arrow, don't go....simple.
I've walked 18 and never got lost.
