I bought a car from Glyn Hopkin Romford on the 23 November and 5 hours after “check hybrid system” light comes on. Newly brand new car only 100 miles 72 plate. Took it back to them the next day and still haven’t heard from them. I have rejected the car out they don’t want to accept it. Am stressed out and have no idea what to do because they don’t want to refund me and am left without a car.

I’ve just bought a New BMW X3 at my local dealer, as I was driving home the brakes failed luckily no accident occurred but it was a shocking experience to say the least, BMW arranged pick up and trailered my vehicle away back to the 0:48 dealer,
The process now is testing now ongoing plus a road test of 500miles by BMW drivers. I’ve had this vehicle for 7 weeks the mileage is 838 miles, I’m not at all happy for them to drive the vehicle for 500miles I want another new vehicle as I have no faith whatsoever in this vehicle. If the brakes failed once it could happen again. Advice needed please

I bought a car 48 hours ago. Did a diagnostic report. Turns out the engine is fooked. An independent merc specialist says it’s not economically viable to repair it. The car dealer is now telling me it’s a “trade sale”. No money back no guarantee.🤔

I am having the same issue with a Mercedes EQA, car has been in every month since picking it up in August with knock on issues caused by the initial issue.

My car is still in my possession they keep taking it in "Fixing it" then giving it back to me.

Then it goes wrong again. Issues started within 2 miles of leaving the garage, currently have a £68k sitting on my drive that I just dont feel safe driving

I bought a VW Tiguan and now its 15 days and there is serious noise from engine and error in drive system.
The Road side assistance said that the dealership will replace the sensor but I didn’t get a call back
I need to reject this car and need a new car or either refund

I have a VW Golf that has had electrical faults since brand new. VW replaced the gateway that was faulty, however the car has since had the same and other faults. VW will not let me cancel the finance agreement

Great so what do you do after 6 months the legislation is weak if the fault does not show itself early enough

19 March 2023, went to Derby Prestige Cars for an Audi A6 2015, the car looks great, 54k miles. I had a look inside, all clean and nice, I ask the dealer if we can take it for a drive, and he said "let's do the finance check first and after we can have a drive" (car on finance). We did what he said and I've been accepted. Unfortunatelly I do have a EU driver licence and I could not find a company to do temporary insurance and I let him drive it. He said there is nothing wrong with the car, everything works as it should, asked him if the sat nav it's working, he said yes. On his drive, he got a strange call from someone wants to have a look on the car, went back to his office, 2 guys was outside looking at us and never came inside the office to have a chat. Came back next day to pick up the car, I change the car on my policy and as soon as I drove the car few yards I noticed that the steering wheel it's stiff and hard, and does not return back when steer to left or right. PS: jumped from Golf 5 to Audi A6. I thought it's some settings and I tried to change the drive mode, nothing changed. Pulled over and called him, he claim that there is nothing wrong and I should go to a service for inspection. Told him I will go next day or something like that, but I went after 2 week to Doncaster Audi, they said it's an internal steering rack issue and need a brand new steering for 3k. I let the dealer know and he said that he's not gonna pay for that and why I didn't went to service next day and I said I went when I had time, he tried to intimidate me, after that he bought for me an RAC warranty for 1 year. Went to an approved RAC service, said the same thing, also they said "someone tried to adjust the steering rack free play and now the rack is unservicable" (I've got this on receipt as a comment), and RAC won't fix that. Called finance company, told me to call the dealer and give the chance to repair it (17 April), I sent him an email with that and every evident from Audi and RAC service. Eventually he said (on phone) that he will repairt it. Today (23 April) I let the car with him (brother showed up).

3 issues: steering rack, sat nav doesn't work, yesterday coolant tank was empty (leak).

Went home and I sent another email with what needs to be fixed, but he never reply to my emails, only phone calls.
I spent time and hundreds of pounds for this car for all the investigations and never been happy having a new car.

Hopefully he will fix it. I don't know what else I should do and if I did good things untill now.
