I've noticed others (and have experienced it myself), going on omegle and being like "I'm trans, what do you think about that". When it's a woman being asked, usually they don't care. When it's a man who's alone, they usually go "you're beautiful, more power to you", etc. But when men are around other men, it's "oh hell no". I do think it's partly the unlearning and trying to fit in and maintain the status quo. But I also think they see trans women exploring a part of life that seems forbidden to them. Guys, it's okay to find someone attractive. And if they happen to be trans, congrats, you find trans women attractive (at least 1). And that's perfectly fine. As long as you treat me like a person and not a conquest or burden or target, then we're cool.

I think it’s okay to not be *attracted* to trans individuals, but it is *not* okay to hate them just for being what they are. Why is it so hard for some people to just be accepting and display basic human decency to someone who’s done nothing to earn their dislike…?

Personally I’m just not sexually attracted to people who weren’t assigned female at birth. That doesn’t mean that trans females aren’t female or that I value them any less than I would a hetero person; it’s just not what I’m sexually attracted to.
