The contest should be how long it takes you to build a working computer in an actual case, and then the second part is cable management. That is, measuring how much wires are showing in the main bay versus time it took to get there.

In my cybersecurity class my teacher told us how back when he taught computer repair they would have competitions for who could build one in a case from scratch, one girl in his class was absolutely insane at it and managed to completely build it and have it working in under 5 minutes including front panel connectors and all the screws

You could theoretically save time by using an iGPU or by using a GPU with no extra power needed

this demonstrates that pc builds have become as simple as legos these days. in contrast my friend once tried to saw a motherboard off at the edge so that it would fit in its case in the mid 90s.
