Extraordinary video. To me it's so fascinating how humans in all corners of the world have historically reported communicating with and seeing spirits. There's a phenomenon going on there that my rational mind always tries to dismiss, but the evidence is hard to ignore.

By the way, "smokeless fire" is what you find in stars. They burn but do not give off smoke.

"even muhammad was initially worries that his quranic revelation were jinn-inspired"

FALSE! very misleading, i know this was referring to the first revelation that he got from angel Gabriel, that was his FIRST EVER experience of a supernatural entiti..
he was so terrified of the experience of Angel Gabriel because he doesnt know what it is and angel Gabriel explained to him right after that

not once ever he doubt that the revelation came from a Jin, he knew what it was after the first encounter

"many muslims come to interpret the stories of jinn in a metaphotical sense"

NOT TRUE, believe in the existance of JINs is part of the Holy Quran...muslims cannot pick and choose or twist verses like christians. Holy Quran is verbatim word of god, not a compilation words of man like the bible.

Excellent research and presentation as always. I agree with the theory that paranormal entities, modern hauntings and alien encounters are part of the same phenomenon.

Jinn being the part of the same phenomenon as cryptids and ghosts would surely explain why they are so similar.

I’ve done some studies on Islam and the Middle Eastern cultures and have to admit that “jinn” was one of my favorites to learn about.
But basically Muslims don’t believe in “fallen angels” because they’re made of pure light and they don’t have free will like humans and jinn do. They’re created strictly to follow the commands of God. So if any of them to “fall” would mean that God is weak and cannot control the very creatures he created.
They believe that “jinn” are made of the purest form of fire. Like the very center of fire. They were also given free will like humans and they were put on earth but were separated from humans by a one sided veil meaning they can see us but we can’t see them. And in some circumstances they can touch or possess a human.
Muslims also believe that Lucifer/satan was not a “fallen angel” but instead was a jinn hence why he had the power to denounce and refuse to bow to Adam. He believed he was of the superior race because he was made of the purest fire while Adam was made of clay
It is also believed in Islam that while majority of the jinn is evil, there are also jinn who believe in God and follow religions. Some are Jewish, some are Christian, some are Muslim, etc.
So the creepy shadows and spirits we see or get possessed by are evil jinn.
Muslims believe that once a human is dead their spirit crosses over to the REAL spirit realm immediately and is never returned to earth as it is. And the “ghosts of loved ones” or ghosts in general are jinn posing as the spirit of that specific human. They do have the power to gain access to memories of humans who have passed on and impersonate them

To say that they have different manifestations is equivalent to saying they can take on many forms. Thus they can appear as anything they want in order to do their work. They can do very little directly but work through humans, mainly by "whispering in their ear", but also sometimes by inhabiting their bodies. These beliefs can be found in all cultures. In Saudi Arabia they take the matter of Jinns so seriously that they have the death penalty for witchcraft (Summoning Jinns).
The word "Jinn" is not derived from Latin. Arabic words have very clear roots. The English word "Genie" is derived from the Arabic plural "Jinni", not from the Latin "Genius".
Shaitan is not a form of Jinn, it is one specific Jinn, Satan. Iblis is Lucifer.
Moorehouse's account of Jinns during military operations in the desert has been reported by many US military veterans in Afghanistan and Iraq. They also show up in thermal imaging devices, which naturally freaks out even battle hardened veterans.

In Indian mythology you can find different equivalents called Asuras, Yakshas and Rakshasas. In Hinduism (before 500BC) Asuras are described as power-seeking clans opposing the more benevolent Devas (gods). In Buddhism (500 BC) the word is sometimes translated as "titan" or "demigod". The Rakshasas especially are a race of usually malevolent demigods.
The yakshas are a broad class of nature-spirits, usually benevolent, but sometimes mischievous or capricious, connected with water, fertility, trees, forests, treasure and wilderness.
