Hi, In this woodworking video, I take you through the process on how to create an awesome 3D end grain cutting board. This cutting board is inspired by one created by mtmwood, but was accompished with a different method. Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: There are a few spots in this video where it looks like my hand is an unsafe distance from the blade. I can assure you that all cuts were made safely, and that my hand was not as close to the blade as the certain camera angles made it appear.

A really nice cutting board and more importantly an excellent instructional video with just the right amount of detail.

Would you be able to share the final dimensions of your boards after planing them before glue ups? I want to try to make this board pattern

Beautiful board. Being able to visualize something like this in your mind and then transfer this vision to the wood is truly amazing.

Neat video, nice process. Thanks for showing it, but holy h ck we don't need to every single board going through the planer and bandsaw etc ..we get it. I had to fast forward so much.

I have to ask...did anyone else notice the tiny swimming white duck at 11:01, or am I just going crazy?

I've been binge watching several cutting board videos lately, that's some impressive work!

GREAT INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO!! For those of you with a wider planer you can save glue time by attaching all 1/4" Maple strips, as mentioned, all at once to save a day of glue time.

Yes you are correct... This board looks awesome! Very nice indeed, great job. Out of all the boards I have een, I think I like this one the best, the depth is phenomenal.😊 I've never made before, but when I can get myself to that point in time, this is the baby. Andrew

I enjoyed watching your video. It would have been extroinarily kind of you if you had given all the dimensions for all pieces so us rookies could share in your experience.
