As an Ibiza veteran and enthusiast, I have always wondered about the rocky island of Es Vedra on Ibiza's southwest coastline. I have often pondered why we are forbidden to step foot there. Legend has it that Es Vedra is the third most magnetic place on the planet and that compasses give strange readings. I sailed to investigate with a compass in hand. The magnetic versus the digital compass readings differed significantly (I show the image in the video).

Es Vedra is well known for ET sightings and even features in Homer's Odyssey. Ulysees went to Es Vedra to investigate Siren's songs designed to lure sailors to their deaths. All sorts of mythical creatures are purported to live on the mysterious land.

I asked Honey to tune into her higher self and answer questions; the island has more secrets than I could have imagined!

Very interesting discussion. I spent much of my childhood in Ibiza in the 70s and 80s and lived there with my mother and brother in 83/84 in the hills near San Antonio. She was a regular at Ku. My Dad lived in Cala LLonga. They were both drawn to the energy of the island and just could not stay away from it for long. Mum regularly took me and my brother to the beaches near the intriguing Es Vedra. I now go there with my family when I can. I have also recognised that Ibiza has changed significantly. As you say, it is more expensive now and sadly is becoming over-developed. Cala Conta was also a magical destination but now over-crowded. The environment is suffering with aquifers over-extracted and the river is almost totally dry and barren. Yet it is still a very special place and I'll keep going back from time to time.

Awesome wrk Antonia.. i can tell you've spent enough time there, to know .... 2nd trip...i stayed 9weeks in san carlos 1994🙄 terry Thomas pad.. wow!!.. im here due 2 this, its only now i realising how many weird situations i experienced on the island!..
