Just recently got a 06 Hemi Charger RT my lil sister bought new in 06. Had 89500k for 3k. It claims to have 350hp as well and certainly feels like it. It's the quickest, heaviest, car I've personally ever had. It also appears to have a sure grip rear and easily barks both tires just pulling away briskly from a light even with traction control on and will kick the rear out and start to boil both when turned off.
I think it has most of the upgrades the Daytona did without the wing so it's a bit more low key and has been fun to mess with the expensive cars that decide they don't have to let me merge onto the freeway.
Too bad they never made a 2 door coupe but Daimler thought they knew what America really wanted and they knew everyone knew the Charger. First 4 door sedan I've owned that wasn't a parts car for something else like my Dart. It really is a nice car that is quick and handles and stops well. Hopefully we'll all avoid the dropped valve seats and destroyed roller rockers and cams some get, mine us quiet as of now except for the low hemi burble😎

Just lucked out and got a great 2006 Daytona in Go ManGo with 98k miles. Already has the transmission module replaced so that time bomb is solved. The clear coat on the front is separating but otherwise it is in great shape and was handled with kid gloves. $4, 500! Now thanks to Covid I have up to a 2 week delay before New York State sends me my plates and registration :-(

At the the time choice of cars were 04-06 GTO 5.7 or 6.0, 06 Daytona Charger R/T, or 06 Monte Carlo a Chevy guy so I still got the SS. But I love all those cars

1:30 thats either not stock or a fake Daytona. 2008 hemi orange didn’t have the Daytona decal on the rear quarter panels they have them on doors and 2008 didn’t have that little pin stripe line down the doors. Almost looks like someone tried to make a Daytona but made it off an 06

Just copped a Daytona charger rt 2007 for $1800 with high mileage and some rust but even at 230000 miles on it it still doesn’t tick and was driven very conservatively by one owner, best car I’ve owned so far and as I’m fixing it myself it’s the cheapest muscle car I could possibly put together 10/10 recommend
