BIG MAC Chaffle Burgers with Parmesan Zucchini Chips

These are amazing. It is not an original idea but I adapted a few things to suit how I like to do it. Give these a try! They are packed with protein and low in carbs!

Here’s the basic recipe, although not formally written, perhaps it’s enough to get you going! Both will be up on my blog at some point. 😆 Enjoy! 🌸

RECIPE:
Big Mac Chaffle Burgers - serves 4

Burgers:
1 1/2lbs ground beef made into 5oz burgers (make 1 or divide for 2 small ones)
1 tsp of salt
1 or 2 TBS minced onion
Mix well and form into patties
Cook and top with cheese

Chaffles: makes 2 small chaffle buns
1 egg
1/2c cheese
Cooking spray

Scramble the egg and cheese. Spray your preheated waffle iron and cook until well done. I used a small round waffle iron with about 3 TBS of chaffle mixture. My other waffle iron is square and too large. It would make a mega sized burger, but hey! Maybe thats what you want! 😆

Garnish & assemble your “Big Mac”:
Dill hamburger chips
Sliced American or cheddar cheese
Shredded lettuce
Thousand Island dressing
Sesame seeds (optional)
