Fast Boot should be disabled imo. It's not worth the hassle if there are issues. I'd rather not have to jump bios pins or take out cmos battery ^^

Above xmp is high bandwidth and low latency and they are set to auto. What are they for and should I change them?

Nice video, very informative. I would maybe do a split screen ? As if you were streaming a game. Show us the BIOS screen, better to see it sometimes how you Navigate etc. Besides just a quick image on screen. But thank you ! Great content

I was actually wondering about RAID the other day and what RAID zero meant. I would definitely watch a how to video on it!

Just enabling xmp doesn't work with all ram types and mainboards. It also can give you more inputlag, if your not tuning the timings right, especially with 4 modules or dual Rank Ram.

Thanks for the video! I was wondering if it is worth it to have Speedstep, Speed Shift, or C-States on or off for overclocking? Thanks!

TPM and Secureboot.
I recommend against enabling them if you're going to try to use a linux OS. Secure boot only functions if Microsoft has signed off and given a key to the specific distro and it locks you out of using whatever OS you want.

I have two separate sets (2x 32gb first pair & 2x 32gb second pair) of ram, do I have to put the first pair of ram into the same Channel #1 slots and the second pair into Channel #2 slots, or It doesn't matter and I can mix match? thx

Pro tip- oils from our hands can prematurely degrade cmos/button batteries; best to use gloves when handling

Nice I have a black screen after changing my ram to 3200 👍
Edit: forgot to update but I was able to go to 3000 speed just not 3200, my mobo doesn’t support any higher. Still got a ton of FPS from it tho

Hey Max!, I had a question about CPU voltages and core level 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.. My 3700X runs hot at default voltages with my X570m Pro 4. I've had the 3700X on Asus X470-i and ran a negative offset of 0.07500 mv. How do I lower voltages to CPU without touching on using manual mode for overclocking? Found the Core voltages level options at bottom of OC page and it was set at level one as default. I'm currently adjusted to level 3. Does Asrock numbering scheme work opposite or negative voltage values when I go higher on the levels? This bios is new to me. Thanks for any input.

For xmp, it comes up with ‘profile 1’ and ‘profile 2’ instead of just enable, which should I choose cos I have no idea what they do lol?

Disable pss support. Don’t know if it’s on intel boards.
