One big bad trick in our universities is the study of Philosophy. Since the outsourcing of our free enterprise to communism in china started in the 80's, I always wondered, "What is this force that keeps moving the USA into more government control of our lives?". I met a 24 year old kid in a bar during the first obama administration, and we were discussing human liberty. he asked me if I ever heard of Ayn Rand, because he said I sounded like her, I had not. So I started reading her and found out the force that moves us into communism, and IO found out how important philosophy really is. It starts with Philosophy, how we think man should live. Now let me describe your philosophy course, which is most likely a lot my my college philosophy course.
"We did not learn about the difference between the philosophies of communism vs. Individual liberty protected by law with free enterprise in our hands, (communism does not recognize individual liberty at all, and that is why the 2 systems are not compatible). We learned about a bunch of lunatics who probably would have been institutionalized in a rational society, (sans Aristotle, who was not taught correctly). We had no idea why we got a good grade, were just glad the ambiguous class was over, never to think about it again."
As a result of that one act, we don't know the difference between individual liberty vs communism, and we have been talked out of our liberty since the progressive movement that started in the early 1900's, that was put ion pace as soon as we got the electrical grid set up, and the citizens were making MONEY. What a dirty trick.
Don't kid yourself. The communistic progressive movement is responsible for the changes in our education, and the study of Law was their first target, which is why almost all politicians are lawyers. Are we past the point of no return as Thomas Sowell asks? I don't know. But I know that depends on the people/citizenry and how they think. With only 24 views here, well, do we have the time to change minds, especially amid our growing censorship?
If a person like me ran for office with a big mouth, and great speeches for individual liberty protected by law and free enterprise in our hands where ti started in the first place, we could reverse the education of millions, generations of mental damage, ---in one campaign. Paying the conversion tax out of a taxable account effectively shifts dollars from the taxable account to the Roth account where it can grow tax free (with the amount shifted equal to the tax). This man is the reason I first discovered Trump, and I’ve followed both of them since around 2006. I own all their books and have absorbed their ideas over the years. Despite sometimes feeling that his advice can seem a bit scammy, I still find value in it and have genuinely loved his work since I first came across it. Much of what he shares is just common sense, but it’s presented in a way that keeps it engaging and impactful.
