HTC 10 - 24 Hours Later - A Mini-Speaker Test

Just a few things to go over since the phone arrived at my doorstep yesterday. I briefly go over battery, form factor, build quality, display, performance, and finally, do a little speaker test.

Thanks for the test. In my opinion the 10 is not as loud, however the quality is better than the G5. When you played mayor, the voices sound more lively on the 10 while the G5 sounded much more "tin" like and not as sharp.

Jerome you are awesome man! You are the only person that has discovered the QC 3.0 charging issue with the G5. I have a 3 amp is random order brand cord and the tronsmart adapter. I'll have to test it to see if it'll be able to achieve Qualcomms 3.0 charging claims.

the htc speakers sound better than current competitors but nothing is as good as forward facing Dolby digital stereo boomspeakers of the m8 and m9.

Nice... that's a bit of a surprise with the speakers on the HTC... but for the LG5 that's a major plus.

thanks for the honest review.if the phone didn't look as good as it did and perform well it would have been RIP to htc because they removed their unique selling point and thought they were slick by naming these not so good speakers.i just can't get my head around why they would remove what their brand was well known for.a9 sales were piss poor and according to some websites the preorder sales in china and the US for the 10 are also poor.if htc go out of business they only have their selves to blame

the lg g5 speaker seems muffled compared to the HTC 10

The problem with your speaker test is that you covered the HTC 10 woofer with LG G5 but didn't cover the speaker on the G5.

Don't let it die all the way. That's really bad for lithium based batteries! Pretty good numbers though.

htc 10 has the best sounding speakers. g5 might be a litle bit louder but sounds like shit.

nexus 6p is sound like shit ... i know because i have it now ... after 3 months of use the speaker is sucks and tiny now ... its still loud but there is lots of weird noise coming from the speaker ... before it i use to have an m8 for almost 18 months and dam the sound quality still was rock solid
