Please tell me you have a parts list? This is about 99% the same system I'm going build for my parents

What is the thickness of the module with the 18650 cells and the plastic holders? I am planning a set up for my 2014 Rav 4 EV and I want to make sure I can fit the modules. Thanks!!!

HI Frank, I see how you are limiting the top end of the battery, by the charge DC to DC buck converter. But how are you limiting the discharge? I.e. how do you get your pack to stop giving power when you get to 12v which would be 3v per cell in the 4S you are doing. I thought about using a buck converter on the output as well, and making it output 12v. Once the input is less than the output it will stop giving power. but finding Bucks that are higher amps is not easy.

Thank you for any insight you could provide.

Awesome videos. Why use 12V instead of 24V?

You mentioned that you will only charge your battery pack to 15 volt how are you stopping at exactly at 15 volts are you watching it until it's done charging to 15 volts or do you have something that limits it?

By soldering the cells, aren't you damaging/shortening their lifespan and capacity due to the heat of the soldering iron?
