use a centech 4 in 1 portable power pack to jUMPSTART your car

There's no reason to use jumper cables anymore. These power packs are safer and more convenient than the old style jumper cables. Just put the Big alligator clips onto the battery in the right orientation, Then turn on the power pack and start your car. It's that simple. Hope you enjoy the video.

It says in the instructions NOT to connect the black clamp to the negative battery terminal, but rather to a non-moving metal chassis location. Also says you must WAIT 5 minutes after connecting or the car may not start.

mine started fast. thumbs up. ground car on something else besides _ negative battery post. use some exposed metal on engine. positive must go on battery. make sure they are both snug and jumper is charged up fully. hook it up for 5 mins with power switch on. ignition switch off!.) after starting disconnect it by_( turning off jumper switch. remove negative- black. then remove red+ positive. leave car running and drive some. charge unit when you get home.

The directions on my Cen-Tec portable power pack says not to put the black clamp to the battery; but to clamp it to grounded metal under the hood!

I thought it says to put black _( ground) clamp_ to a ground on metal part on car engine area. ? mine worked this way. but it first time sparked on me. scared me. it must been poor ground and I have those tiny side terminals which I dislike. so glad this seems a good jumper and didn't mess anything up. ez to use.
