Great clip as always. Which 1000 size would you get for a 7'6 imx pro SJR 901s: stradic 1000 or new Ultegra 1000 FD? Im not a fan of super fast reels. Is the stradics 6 to 1 ratio a lot faster than the Ultegra's 5 to 1 ratio? Is the stradic drag snoother? Thanks

Hoping they arrive early spring in Europe so i can use them for the new seabass season. I have the last model in a 4000 size. For it’s prize an amazing reel. I like the looks of the new model even better.

I was picking this reel up for my son who is 11 years of age. Do you have a recommendation for a Shimano rod that I could buy for him that he can use for small rooster tail spinners to catch bass? I was wanting to stay around $200 but not sure which rod would be best for this application. I read the Zodias would be the best choice but I wanted to get your recommendation for the best bang for your buck. Thank you, and awesome video! I am a fan and subscribing to your channel!

Thanks for the quick review. I have the prior ultegra model to this and was wondering is this new model will come with a shaft bearing support for the spool like the stradics? I know that the previous models doesn't come with that extra bearing. Would be nice if they make them with spool bearing support in the future. Almost no need for the stradic at that time. I have pretty all the Shimano line from nasci FC to the stella Fk and all the daiwas all the way to the exist. I know, I'm such a tackle junkie. Thanks in advance.

Two questions, does this 2025 Ultegra have a one piece screw in handle? And do I spend a little bit more for the 2023 Stradic? I already have the 2021 ultegra in a 2500 size. For my next reel I am looking for both in the 3000 size.

CI4 on this reel brings it up to its maglite series ? Behind the vaquish, twin power hd, vanford but its a step up from the miravel. Looks like all reels moved from core swries to maglight series
