Shimano CURADO DC Worth It In 2024? LONG TERM Review

Is the Shimano Curado Dc still worth it In 2024? Curado DC after 3 years of heavy fishing! I would argue that this is the best beginner baitcaster reel! Is the Curado DC the BEST Baitcaster?

I use mine the the StCroix Musky 7'6", it has never disappointed me!
Landed my best large mouth ever @11.6lbs.
I bought it for a fishing trip to Florida, and everyday the winds where at 20knots.
Not once did I ever have a backlash!
That bass had not chance, I landed him in 15 secs..

The best bait caster i ever had, totally abuse my dc that you can not imagine.. dropped in the water hit on the rocks, dropped it countless times but still working like brand new, had a bird nest on this 4 times just because of me being wreckless… it’s expensive but it’s worth the investment.

I have the slx dc & the curado dc both amazing reels! Not once have i been disappointed. Ive fell in the rivers i fish and got them wet and dirty but they always get the job done nice and smoothly 👌 its worth the money

Bro the 200 zig is what I have and it works great if you can find the curado rod for it do that do it is a great med heavy rod. Also goes good with the aesthetic of the reel.

Can it be used on heavy actions rods like 7’4 heavy rods. Is it good for frogs and fishing in vegetation?

Im looking for a reel that can handle high casting speeds with a stupid long rod (9”6’) does the digital chip handle pretty well when you load your rod and send your crank flying into space?
