Personally I just transfer the yoke between two halves of an eggshell and the white falls away pretty easily. I’ll have to time different methods to see which is actually faster.

I've always used the shell as a cup to separate the yolk.

I like to shuffle the egg yoke between the two halves of shell and the whites fall down really nicely

Empty water bottle. Squeeze the empty water bottle and use it as a suction device on the yolk. No mess at all

The fastest is to crack the eggs on o bowl, then use a bottle, suck and place the yokes on another bowl, 10x faster than hand and "cleaner"

Garlic on the fingertips lets you grab the yolk out easily.

You could also use a plastic water bottle to suck up the yolk

There are so many kitchen tasks that can be done, as you demonstrated, faster and easier with either your hands or a knife. It’s way easier to wash your hands or a knife than to clean a contraption like that.
