I hate when videos are like "this new creature was discovered" but it turns out they find some tiny organism while theres a huge creature in the thumbnail...

How are there not more negative comments? These are not recent discoveries, shameless clickbait

Ok, firstly, that shark has been known since the 18th century (1788), and that isn't very recent if you ask me. Its also not the only creature to do this form of camouflage.
A slug, that can regenerate its body if it has been infected with parasites, ok, interesting, but this ain't a recently discovered creature, in fact first discovered in 1871.
Secondly, this one clearly has not been discovered and is still a myth. Also, show the ruddy video of this (and any 'mythical') creature next time will you!
Thirdly, the Barrel Jellyfish isn't new, nor is beaching of sea creatures...
Fourthly... a pufferfish! Woah, never heard of these before!
Fifthly, bones, you can still tell what the creature is by look at its skeletal structure.
Ok, this one I didn't know, but its something new about an already known creature...
For the love of god this slug has been known since the time of the Roman Empire, and I don't think I need to say why this isn't recent.
Ok, Carnivorous Sponge discovered in 1995, first creature on this list to be a recent discovery that I didn't know about...
1772 was the first description of the Oarfish, in fact a good 16 years before our shark buddy.

All in all, this list only contains one recent discovery, all the rest are already well known, and have been known for a good few centuries. One of them probably doesn't even exist for goodness sake! Oh, and the chapters are all over the place...
There also way better channels to watch if you want to know about recent discoveries of new or ancient creatures, like DeepseaOddities or Ben G Thomas.

Great. Now that the existence of a "wandering meatloaf" is now known, especially since it has a rare metal found inside of it, they will now be harvested for capital gain and will be added to the soon to be extinct list.

I like how half the list is stuff that wasn’t recently discovered it was like recent incidents with known animals.

Ah yes, the fish. A newly discovered series. Next thing we know is that there's fish that can fly and birds that can't

My favorite sea monster is the Tully Monster. It's so weird looking and lived during the Pennsylvanian period. I really find it even more fascinating since I use to live in Tullytown, Pennsylvania
