I came across a wolf eel/wolf fish diving in the cold North Atlantic off Nova Scotia- basically we stay within no decompression limits, generally speaking, but 60-90 feet isn’t unheard of. Wolf fish are pretty mellow when you treat them with respect. Generally most all sea life are that way. Let them live their lives & they are happy.

When I was a teen and younger I would swim pretty far out in the ocean when we went to the beach . For some reason the older I get, the more I’m terrified to even get in . I think beautiful and love seeing it, I just hate what lives in it .

I went diving on The Chester Pauling ship wreck and was greeted by a large group of wolf fish. Quite a sight! The ship stern is in 100’ of water off Gloucester Massachusetts. It broke apart in The Blizzard of ‘78. Nice dive.

Great video and some nice choices. Did anyone else notice the strange creature crawling across in front of the ?Hamish, at 2:55? I think it's what's known as a skeleton shrimp. Hard to see unless you look for them. I'm not sure what you called that fish, ham or hand?

It’s weird that we don’t even know everything that’s deep in the oceans - yet many people have decided God doesn’t exist!

Half of these fish do in fact look like future ideas for submechnophobia animatronics.

That image reminds me very much of a Red Skelton Character. The resemblance is amazing.
