It looks like there's a couple of shadowy figures fighting a fight there. Eternally locked into the wood grain, it captures a scene of two immortal souls battling each other. Possibly animal spirits, hard to tell, but wonderfully brought up wood grain in this piece!

you got some wobble on the lathe mate, but it turned out a beautifull looking piece mate ( the wood is apple mate ) i only new the nail was there as my chainsaw found it 🤣🤣, might have some holly tree wood soon as the other half wants our holly tree down and its a big one and im happy too drop you some round once its down and cut up 👍

Love it Dave, the grain and colour is beautiful, I keep meaning to get one of those metal detectors, like Luie says, it would save a few CS blades .
