Imagine if they had an Assasinss creed game that took place in asia during a war between Mongolia and china and the HU were making the soundtrack. That would be insane.

In Star Wars some of their movies already have actual Mongolian derived content in them such as the Imperial Women's clothing and headress was based on Mongolian Queens clothing. The language of the Ewocks was a dialect of Mongolian. One of the composer's wives suggested them and played the song Wolf Totem because she wanted them to do the song after hearing them. They helped create the language they were singing in. Their genre is called Hunnu Rock.

I'm so happy you found this band. I got to see them live when they came to Adelaide Australia.

I absolutely love 💗 this Mongolian Rock...as an Indigenous Native American I relate to the Tribal Sound and tone(s). The Song is definitely Amazing 😉 and EPIC. The Creator’s or producer’s wife knew The Hu would be the best sound for the genre. The Jaw Harp as far as I recall was in Charlie Browns...SNOOPY. The older animation back in the 70’s. Thanks for posting this Reaction. 🙋🏻‍♀️❤️🔎🎶🎵🎶❤️👏🏽

The instrument you were asking about is called Horse Head Fiddle. It is made of only two strings that made of horse tail hair (hense the name Horse Head Fiddle) It is The Mongolian cultural instrument that absolutely differentiates as from all other asian cultures. As you saw in the video it can make out
sounds you’ve never expected from such small instrument, not even from a Cello 😆. If you’re worthy enough, you can make it play so many different types sounds, it’s endless. Anyways, Thank you for listening and reviewing our country band 🙏 hope you’ll enjoy more of their arts.

The instrument you refer to at the end of the video is called a Morin Khuur or Horsehead fiddle. Each of the members of The Hu has attended a music school and they all have degrees. Jaya was playing a Jaw Harp. They were asked by EA games to bring them a song for Jedi Fallen Order that would fit the Star Wars Universe. They sent them their song Black Thunder which is in Mongolian. EA loved it but asked them to rewrite it in an alien language, and they helped them with it and that's the result. I love their song Black Thunder and I hope it's released on their next album.

The language is not mongolian. Its the language that they created for the game on this song. This is amazing

Almost TRIBAL.... the last 2 minutes you can see in a movie as tens of thousand Mongolian horsemen gallop across the plains to that beat and how as the earth shakes anyone or anything in there way had to be totally terrorized!!! Great song that they adapted for the game, even if the game is so-so the soundtrack with them on it has to be epic. Great analysis but loved the reaction during the song, this is one song that you just have to respond to. Honestly, the Hu will probably be the soundtrack in most gyms after they open up as they certainly will 'pump-up" any one listening!!

The HU are amazing, their collaboration with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm is amazing. Also, if I remember the description correctly, they collaborated to make a new language for this song.

F, just F it. I've loved everything I've heard from this band, but now I'm understanding how good they are. They're not messing around, they're damn good musicians. That would explain why they've been able to do so many collaborations in such short order.

Loved your reaction. Mirrors my emotions.

The mouth instrument Is variously known as a jaw harp or jew's harp, sometimes used in Russian folk music too. The two string instument is a horse head fiddle.
