It’s grow light unboxing day here at Guten Yardening! We just purchased a Mars Hydro TSW2000 Watt grow light, and we are excited to see what it adds to our indoor gardening space.

This is the first Mars Hydro Grow Light we have grown with, and we know this one is a big upgrade for us when it comes to grow light efficiency. I went with Spider Farmer in the Lab but I've heard good things about the Mars Hydro as well. Looks like that light will be a great addition.

Last year when we bought our LED grow lights, I noticed that the product specs/details were conflicting depending on whether you were looking on website listings, or the included manuals that ship with the lights. I was a bit skeptical about the ones we bought, because they looked very similar to the Spyder and Mars brands, but they were less expensive. We took tomatoes, carrots, peas, flowers, greens, and herbs to maturity so far without a hitch. I wanted a bloom/fruit mode more so than a dimmer, so that's what our carambola (Starfruit) model touted. I think you'll be happy with the performance of your Mars Hydro grow lights.

What temp does it get outside in your area and what temp does the grow tent stay? I live in zone 7a and have lots of tropical plants and am afraid for winter time, the coldest it ever gets outside is around the 10s, will a grow tent with heat lamp bulbs be enough?
