When applying epoxies on metal you should consider the following factors:
- Always apply a primer, and this primer should be a low viscosity primer
- Consider using a primer for metal surfaces
- Any epoxy coating applied on metal should have a thin film thickness. Under no circumstances should you apply self leveling epoxies on metal
- Treated metals like stainless steel and aluminum are tougher to get epoxy to stick to them
