In our Hungry Jacks, we microwave the bottom bun with the meat (also with the cheese and bacon if they are in the recipe). Can take from 14-20 secs depending on the burger and how many.

if no bacon > halal microwave
if there is bacon > non halal microwave

In terms of speed your gonna get told off if you make it as fast as the person in the video but since its a demonstration its ok. You gotta be really fast when the restaurant has a lot of orders.

I used to have an 8 second Whopper time, microwaving included. We had a steamer that we kept the burgers in. For Whoppers we would mic the bottom bun with patty on it while we prepared the top bun. Btw, the ketchup swirls are supposed to start from the inside/out not the way this was done unless it changed. Not micing the cheese hurts my soul. For burgers and cheeseburgers we would make the whole sandwich and wrap it and then mic it.

Worked at one in early 90s. Thats pretty much how we made them back then. I found out that for big macs they are trained to overlap the two pickles. Not so for bk. Pickles never touch and whopper has them in a 2x2 square. Happy bk doesnt use dehydrated onions like mcdonalds

Well damn he just forgot about them poor fries they been done by the time he got the ketchup on the whooper and he damn near had to break the shack machine to get it to act wright I would have been scared to bring it to the customer know they was mad ass hell lol
