The Streamer 2x1 - Easiest Expandable Base Design in Rust

This is my take on the classic 2x1 expandable base. This is a common expansion similar to bases built by Warrior, Wally1k, Swales etc. This base obviously isn't identical to the bases of any of the Youtubers/Streamers listed, but similar in design and concept.

this is probably like my 5th comment ever in like 10 years of watching egregious amounts of youtube daily. All to say, thankyou for this base, ive watched like 6 videos on expanding from a 2x1 and none were as straightforward and actually useful as this one is building from a standard 2x1.

When you do these builds, can you put in the cost of build and the upkeep at each stage? I like to build in stages and it helps us to know what we need to have in the box ready to state again. Nice build though

I use this base all the time I tried to do it with out a tutorial after watching wally1k the I’m found this and it really helped me. I would recommend making the whole 1st and 2nd floor sheet metal and I always add a layer off honey comb around the base I have never been raided using this base which shows how strong and intimidating it is. I think every solo should build this base and a duo could even live in this base

Used this base and needs to have extra honeycomb around the bottom two floors. Lasted well until a group became more determined. The armoured doors are a must for the TC room. This was a good and easy base to build and use. Thanks buddy

guys the cost is about 4411 wood and 26, 310 stone when I did it and for deployables (with only level 2 workbench) it was 4, 800 wood 1, 000 stone 7, 800 metal frags 40 hqm 60 cloth 250 low grade fuel 500 scrap and 13 gears

On the area with the doors I would recommend putting as many wall frames as possible for stability not like in the tutorial like everywhere you can put them

Offline protection isn't great but if you make some bedrooms in every floor online raids are easy to defend. As a solo I defended against 3 people easily, shooting floor is epic! Also added some auto turrets all inside the base with solar panels on the roof, overall nice beginner friendly base.

This base is really good and simple if you do not have a lot of enemies. It is cheap (compared to all the other fucking complicated ass builds) and really simple to make. I also like the fact that you show the up angles to show what is happening and how and where to place a foundation. Most base videos do this but only for some parts. I would like to thank you for making my wipe easy and enjoyable, keep up the good work!
