Learn the Right and Wrong Way to Do a Posterior Pelvic Tilt
Показать описание
Great tutorial and demonstration of the right way to do a posterior pelvic tilt. The pelvic tilt is a great exercise as it strengthens your abs in a functional way. This tutorial is useful in teaching how to properly engage your transverse abdominals, which are very important when doing any abdominal work.
In this video, I will be explaining the difference between a Posterior Pelvic Tilt (active) and a Lumbar Extension (passive). It may be hard to tell the difference between the two, especially for beginners, but you must pay close attention to how your low back feels in each exercise. In the video, I go through key points on how you should/shouldn't engage your low back as well as emphasize the movement at your hip socket versus achieving full posterior pelvic tilt. Hope you enjoy it!
