For those who are confused :
This video is in Salcette, South Goa.
It's completely opposite of the Bardez/Pernem Coastal belt of North Goa ( Anjuna, Baga, Morjim, Calangute).

South Goa is very silent, less crowds, full of heritage houses, clam people, more Christian population (hence the siesta at afternoon) and lots of empty places.
The local food in small bars/stalls is amazing there.

It's nice to hear someone speak the truth about Goa. The images shown on Instagram reels can be misleading, and I too have fallen prey to their allure. Now that I am here for my job, I see how different it is from what I had imagined. It's a shame that these reels can give people unrealistic expectations.

when people talk abt Goa everyone thinks of enjoyment , beaches Christianity etc but it is not fully true Goa is also very rich in culture it has more than many temples which are kuldevta temple of konkanis so pls do explore this side of Goa also Di pls do visit mahalasa narayani temple in Goa

I am from Goa... the life there is Sushaagaat (slow)... it is one of the costliest place for tourists... the transportation is not that great (the Cadamba bus service is not decent for families especially with small kids)... there is no uber or ola... the private taxis are like Rs 3000 to show 5-6 temples which takes around 4-5 hours only 😢
I love my Goa but I sometimes find it unreasonably costly due to monopoly in certain sectors...

Didiji Goa ki life bhot chill hai isliye noon mein log rest karte hai...Goa ghumna hai toh rented bike is the best option...beach wali cheeze mhehngi hogi hi.... Also bus 7 pm ke baad nai dikhegi... Baki saste restaurants bhi hai ....u need to explore more 😀
