I'm 58 and really only just started a skin care routine. Having bangs, always wearing a wide brimmed hat and using sunscreen since I was younger has helped keep deep wrinkles at bay. I swim so in summer am outdoors and despite sunscreen have freckles. I've started simple with cleanser, toner, a vitamin C serum and hydralonic acid serum plus moisturiser, sunscreen and at night castor oil. I've been rubbing excess into my hands and my smaller freckles are gone and largest ones are going! This is after about 4 weeks. A dark age spot is definitely fading. I'd say similar is happening to my face but it's harder for me to notice as they were lighter and I still have some redness that camouflages them (though it's slowly fading) It's shocked me that I noticed some of the hand freckles had gone after 2 days!! I'm sure it's the hydralonic acid serum which was bought for cheap (Kmart Australia) as I did a bit of an experiment for a few days only applying it to one hand)

I have had great results with Faded Topicals for fading dyaplastic nevi (those stubborn Irish freckles).. Also treating solar lentigos (age spots) with adapalene (generic Differn gel, retinol), i use that on my hands and chest. It is easily tolerated, sinks right in, no scent. I put it on at night. I am almost 65, and people think im 40. Good skincare for decades works!

I used to get a prescription hydroquinone with retinol cream called Lustra Ultra. It was amazing and lightened the spots on my arms incredibly. However, US law changed and I was unable to obtain it anymore as it was made in Canada. I've been so disappointed. The treatments you mention are interesting. Thank you.

I bought all of these serums prior, the only things that work for my age spot are the salicylic acid & leaving a glycolic acid pad over it, literally taping it on. I bought the Megelin three part thing bc it also would help my older knees, I'm so mechanically challenged I can't put it together. Another woman on here commented to Megelin itself begging for a video. Pls do one for us, you'll def get plenty of views on that! Thx Chris.
