Quick question, since this is not anchored into any structural elements of the house it's self, doesn't this mean no matter how strong the adhesive foam may be, its still is solely reliant on how well the the roof tiles, rolled roof, composite, or various types of shake ect is attached? Sometimes those elements are not really held down by much so if the panels act like a sail it could just lift the roofing material right up with the panels?

just kind of curious for what conditions these were tested in in the wind tunnel. Say you used the adhesive on a 3/4" steel plate during the test and it held. Great!, but that's testing the adhesive which was the goal. But, once it's stuck to the outside roof, its going to be testing the roof and you have to be 100% reliant that the no shortcuts were taken in the installation of that roof. I've seen people in live Demo's cut through the roof, and use the adhesive, but then the spray was only being sprayed on a sheet of the black rolled PAPER that covered the ply wood underneath which was just tacked in.

I would be interested in knowing about your liability in the case the adhesive held but lifted pieces of the roof off in highwinds.

Just like anything else - easy on, easy off! Looking forward to the videos in a few short years showing solar systems peeled off roofs after hurricane events. Ridiculous product.
