You have to be pretty awful as a interviewer and a person to get me to root for a celebrity. And how the hell did Ellen get as far as she did? I had an ex who just had to watch Ellen everyday so every so often I had to sit though an episode. All I got from her show was that she was NOT a nice person as her audience laughed at others in very uncomfortable situations.

Robert Downey Jr. has been at rock bottom before in his life. Criminal charges, drugs, alcohol, and a terrible mental state. Not only did this make him _perfect_ to play as Tony Stark but it means that he doesn’t exactly fuck around. He makes jokes, he can take jokes, but he doesn’t care what you actually think about him. Whether it is because he is humble from his past or because he knows that he can handle it all because of his past, or maybe both, he simply doesn’t give a fuck.
