How about sidedraft carburetors like Webber, Mikuni and Solex?
Those can be a "pain in the brown donkey" if you know what I mean. Equalizing each throttle body can take frustration to another level!! 😅

theres one place where carbs ARE actually better than fuel injection, on the bonnevolle salt flats, turns out that the carbs and methanol cool the intake air so good that you dont need an intercooler, the carb needs to work at full trottle only so fuel injection dont work as good in cooling the intake charge, ask freiburger at hot rod magazine, he used a carb on his camaro boneville racer
