They are so desperate for views cause that worked on her Captain Marvel debut plus ther’s alot of trigger man babies of what she said in diversity. There’s no reason to hate her now unless those people are miserable.

The saying, “When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression, ” applies a lot these days, but it feels especially–and unfortunately–relevant in the conversations around “Captain Marvel.” Star Brie Larson has made reasonable and refreshing calls for inclusivity in the press access around the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, which some dudes have taken (wrongly) to mean “no white men” allowed in the club house–a club house that they’ve guarded for, oh, pretty much the entire history of film journalism. In an interview with the Washington, D.C. FOX station,  she clarifies what she meant for anyone who was still confused about her statements.
“What I’m looking for is to bring more seats up to the table, ” the Oscar-winning actress said when asked by the interviewer about the angry response. “No one is getting their chair taken away. There’s not less seats at the table, there’s just more seats at the table.”

Those offended by her statements have taken to the internet with their ire,  most recently on Rotten Tomatoes. There they’ve tried to tamp down excitement for the film with negative user reviews, which seems like a less-than-effective strategy as well as a poor use of their time, but you do you, trolls. By contrast,  early reviews by those who have actually seen the movie are generally glowing.

<Brie Larson stunts interview before Chris Hemsworth No, it really all came out of ignorance, to be honest. I didn’t realize that you don’t actually do your own, most people don’t do their own stunts in these movies. I thought you did, and I’ve never been a particularly elegant or athletic person. I’m just an introvert with asthma and felt like I needed to be able to do that. I just thought, “I don’t wanna be on set, and they ask me to do things, and I don’t know how to do it.” So I started training as soon as I could, which was right after I wrapped, so it basically started right as I wrapped picture, I locked picture on the film that I directed. I then went into that, which then turned into nine months of training. And nine months of just training-training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team. We spent two hours every day, five days a week. And it wasn’t until … everyone just went along with it, and was like, “Cool.” It wasn’t until we started shooting, and I started doing all my own wire work stunts, and flips and stuff that people were like, “You know nobody, now we’ll tell you, nobody actually does this. We just didn’t want you to stop. But now that you’ve kind of accomplished this thing, we don’t normally do this.” And I was like, huh?>

Thank you for being a sane voice on here. It really baffles me why they’re so obsessed. I hate Tom Brady and Donald Trump, but I’m not obsessed over them

<Have you ever read a movie review and felt like it completely missed the point (and the magic!) of a film you love? Brie Larson apparently has, and is offering a tangible, achievable solution to these misguided reviews: a more diverse pool of film critics. At the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, Brie spoke about the importance of greater representation in criticism, which would hopefully lead to increased representation in the films themselves.>

I honestly don't understand her hate still. Captain Marvel is old news. I hope this Brie Larson hate train dies down

I agree with you. I was confused with all the people who were whining and complaining in the comments.

Brie's made some great movies too. Kong: Skull Island was awesome. I watched her latest video and it was a normal fun gaming video.
I don't see the issue. 🤷🏿‍♀️

I dont like her as a person.
But all this bandwagon hate is ridiculous and immature. They should help her, not drag her down for nothing but making a YouTube channel.

Way to bury your head in the sand on this. It's the fact that she's unbelievably fake and how channels like hers shows YouTube's favoritism. Channels like hers -- this heavily manufactured dreck -- is KILLING this platform and smaller creators. It's making it harder and harder for the little guy to be the star or even have their voices heard. Your ignorance on why people feel as they do is astounding. It's not just her making a video, it's what it represents.
