They are the best answer to the energy crises...they practically run on my ruckus....and I am 64.

FINALLY - someone finally showed a video of them actually sitting on the bike so we can better judge how we might fit on it, too. So many guys just show us the road as they go cruising around their city. That tells us a lot about where they live but not much about how we might enjoy the bike they're on.

The one major pain on these is fuel pump and non drainable carb along with ethanol in the gas. If they sit any length make sure you run them. The carb will gunk up fast when sitting. Most carbs have a screw drain to flush the bowl or empty. The gas sits in this bowl. Fuel pump is needed because the tank sits under the floor boards. I am on the 3rd fuel pump on our 16 with only 600 miles on the bike. If you use it frequently and are in a good climate where you can drive all year long you probably won’t have these issues. Get gas without ethanol if you can ethanol is terrible for these. Getting some off road small engine high octane non ethanol fuel is great but sometimes hard to come by. Having said all that these bikes are awesome!! They could benefit tremendously from fuel injection which would eliminate fuel issues snd get rid of the auto choke which is also touchy. The ruckus is not a fan of cold climates they love it warm!

2:00, Unless your in Europe it's not likely to be fuel injected, here in North America the ruckus is only sold with a carburetor with an automatic choke.

I bought the custom full underseat storage bag, top case rack, through on saddle bags and an over light bag for the rack. Also bought some Kuryakyn drop down foot peg extenders to make the footing more secure and comfy so my knees can hug the body, also the front rider peg assembly. i can fit at least 6 bags of groceries before I even get to using the floorboard, which will fit one or two large bags of dog food. Once I lashed a 2x5x56 inch box of garage door springs to the floorboards and front foot pegs and looked like an old WWII plane cruising down the backroads for 30 miles. You can practically stear it with your butt. It's very relaxing because you just twist and go the max (35-38 RPM stock) and don't worry about speeding except in 25 MPH or school zones. Depending on payload, you'll get up to 100 MPG. Weak on hills though. It's pretty small; so be as bright as possible. I stuck on those lime green bicycle stickers including making an angry face on the mirrors. Shows people what a badass I am!

To avoid fuel issues like gummy carbs, run nothing but rec fuel and a good fuel stabilizer in every tank !

How tall is it to the top of the handle bars (not the mirrors) from the ground? Just bought two of them & have to pick them up in a Ford Explorer. (taking a 60" wide 500 lbs hitch mounted rack in case they both don't fit inside.) Thanks.

Demo by riding in a backyard instead of road?🤔 in Florida, law for 49cc and under scooter is to ride on the right side of the road. Wonder what does that mean, near curb, how do you take left turn? You are not even allowed to take most scooters on highway and tall road unless 250cc and higher.
