Origins:
1- Anterior fibers: Lateral 1/3 of the Clavicle
2- Lateral fibers: Acromion Process of Scapula
3- Posterior fibers: Spine of the Scapula

Insertion:
Deltoid tuberosity of the Humerus

Functions:
1- Flexion of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Anterior Fibers]
2- Medial Rotation of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Anterior Fibers]
3- Horizontal Adduction of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Anterior fibers]
4- Extension of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Posterior Fibers]
5- Lateral Rotation of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Posterior Fibers]
6- Horizontal Abduction of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Posterior Fibers]
7- Abduction of the Arm @ the GH Joint [Entire Muscle]

Nerve:
Axillary Nerve

Hey there! Great video! Very helpful my school is asking me what muscle bellies there are in the deltoid. I was wondering if theres a chance you could explain what this means in the context of palpation? I had covid and missed some classes and tutoring opportunities fue to the 2 week isolation thing and my midterm is coming. Subbed if you reply or not!
