This is the absolute best advice for any man growing a beard or moustache. You really need to let it be imperfect and see where it goes instead of trimming right away and fastidiously. No shame though, all us facial hair gurus made the same mistakes too.

I have been struggling with this, I had a near perfect 80’s stache but recently started trimming and made it look 10 times worse, I’m letting it regrow on the sides but I learned my lesson! Wish I watched this before I started trimming lol

In my personal experience, it's best to trim evenly(the middle)when first starting, and then NEVER trim it again. Your mustache will literally never get too long, if you wear a handlebar like me.
