Keep in mind that The Doors and Led Zeppelin are my favorite bands. Ok, now let me tell you what I think.
1)The singer sings this way. It's his voice. He literally can't do anything about it. Yes he sounds like Robert Plant. Lots of singers sound like other singers. No big deal. Rock in general has many common features and many songs resemble each other.
2)He is so young and yet hear the maturity in his voice and music. Imagine what he will do when he will be 30! He has an insane vocal range. You should respect that and not whine about their music.
3)Robert Plant himself as well as other rockstars gave them their blessing and said these guys are great.
4)And last but not least... people born in the 70's you don't know the struggle. You had the best music in the history of time. You could go and see live all the bands that I listen to now and can never see. I'm 25 years old and I love rock music. I need this band and I hope more bands like this would come forward. So yeah. Seing these guys gives me hope that one day when I'm 30 I can go on live shows and actually enjoy the hell out of music.

You feel a little woozy, you start to float away, floating back in time, mist and colours drift by as you travel.
Back to a warm sunny evening, California palms blowing in the breeze, the smell of the sea.
Your with lots of other trippy people, flowers in your hair, a band are playing in the park, guitar riffing away gentle yet the notes are full of power. A singer whose voice you think you should know belting out beautiful melodic lyrics that rise to a scream and float in the wind, a pretty song, you float along with it, in a dream, warm smells of Summer night fill your senses. The drummer locks the band together, his playing is solid, yet the beat moves from side to side within the whole space of the song, yet never looses the rhythm.
A Hammond organ swirls away floating through your mind, solid bass from the pedals lock with the drums. Your mind drifts, you don’t know where you are or when, but you feel like you should know this band, yet you’ve never heard this song before,

Where and when in time are you??? Who the hell is this playing, you should know????

The keyboard swirls and drifts, taking you with it, away, away to a time when peace and love was everyone's dream.
Music has power.
This song has power, its not of this time, and not of this modern world, its a dream of what was and what should have been.

Whats more remarkable is its written by a bunch of kids from 2017.
It gives me hope, definitely a song of hope. This time, we cant fail, its our last chance.
Its a song that took great skill to write and more to play. To emulate that sound, is not for the faint hearted.
The footprints left by very big shoes are being followed.

I love it I love it, I haven't been there when the best rock was made. guns... led zeppelin, I was too young. But I will follow this boys cause it's the only real great rock music I heard in a long long time !! They can be our new Led Zeppelin <3

Yes, a truely great band who are destined to be huge stars. Everyone talks about GVF being the new Led Zeppelin, but I can also hear a lot of other influences in their music. This song reminds me of the Rolling Stones "You can't always get what you want".. it also has echos of Finley Quaye in there, from a track of his entitled "Your love gets sweeter everyday". Right now, they are young and still have a ways to go before they produce their magnum opus, in the same way Pink Floyd did with "Dark Side of the Moon" and The Beatles did with "Sgt Pepper". Like the song suggests, flower power, GVF will blossom and grow, when they come into full bloom, we can say we were there when they were budding rock 'n' rollers who shot through the soil and we watched them opening their petals! I look forward to seeing them develope and grow, because this band are not gonna fall by the wayside, on the contrary, they're going to unseat those currently sitting on their rock 'n' roll thrones!
