I legitimately had a sober psychedelic experience when I heard this song for the first time. The only way I can describe it is a brain orgasm. I felt pure joy pulse through my body as he hits those notes. Holy shit I never felt this from a song completely sober before. I am absolutely blown away.

My best friend send me this song on Spotify snd said I would love it. I didn't get to listen till the next day. I was on my way to work and started to play it. I get a call from my step mom as I'm listening to it and she let me know my father who had been battling stage 4 kidney cancer just fainted in the parking lot and was being rushed to the hospital. He died from a heart attack a few days later. On his last day I played a bunch of his favorite songs the I played him this one right before visiting hours were over. He fell right asleep. My entire family stayed at the hospital till he passed. This was the only song that got me through this time. Still one of my favorites

Every time I hear this song I can’t help but think about my son and how I would risk every fiber of my being to keep him safe, loved and forever lit in my heart. He’s literally the reason for my being and the reason for every smile whether in this lifetime or any other. This is the only song that can put into words and show what it feels like to be a father.. I love you my son, you light my love every morning as I wake up.
