Young Forests Initiative

There are many forest types, and animals require a variety of forest types throughout different stages in their lives! One type of forest, the young forest, is mostly made up of young saplings which allow for lots of light to reach the forest floor. This helps berry bushes and other ground cover grow that wildlife use for food and shelter. Who knew!
