"Dad! There is a carpet troll sitting on our kitchen floor! Dad! Are you blind?!? And it's laughing at me!". Reminds me of when my 2 yr old 100+ lb Rotty saw a baby for the first time in a car seat I was holding. The baby was trying to reach out and giggling and "talking". Rotty sniffed the baby's foot, stopped, backed up and walked around the kitchen island and peeked out at it from the opposite side. Like "What is that? Is that secured and safe to have in the house? I should hide at a safe distance! IT COULD EAT ME!!" 😀
