Walk the Camino in 2023? Why the community is interested

Should you be looking for peace and time to meditate, the last 100 kms are more akin to a party especially in summer. In spring you may be able to elude the madding crowds, but I personally would start 3 stages earlier in either Villafranca del Bierzo or O Cebreiro (the scenery there is breathtaking) as you would experience both the 'authentic' Camino and the 'commercial' Camino.
