In another YouTube vid that I saw of another former SEAL, he said that they use their bodies to test their minds. I thought that was a good way to describe it, and Mr. Blair here pretty much confirms it.

When it comes to caracter building, the only bad effect is the possible contempt for people that doesn't overcome hardship of the same level.
Really perceive most people as inferior and "undeserving freeriders" in some way.

I hate burgers with a milkshake. It’s so damn thick and heavy together. When I have a burger, I want something to wash it down, not a giant container of cream. Just makes me nauseous thinking about it.
