In norway there is a deposit on cans and bottles and the holders on the side are there to make it easier to collect them without rummaging through the bin!

Homelessness is dealt with in Finland by getting homeless folks into apartments. The benches look short because of perspective. Also if there are 1 person benches, it's because we wanna sit in peace without strangers crowding us, not because of homeless folks...

Those park benches are not "to avoid homelessness"… (by making the benches shorter they are not preventing people from being homeless! Lol)
Those benches are made that Way to PREVENT the homeless from being able to sleep on the bench! (and avoid hypothermia!) Because God knows we need those benches cleared off at night. Pffff... thats Shameful.
Hell, they should have a blanket and Pillow box welded up underneath the benches so the homeless CAN sleep there in the nicer weather, and sleep there comfortably!
I mean, it's the VERY least you could do for your fellow man.

In Finnland there are not one person benches to avoid homelessness, but homeless people. By the way, in Finnland all people who can't aford a home are provided with an free appartement and the support of social workers. It's even less expensive for the state to do so.

I'm Finnish and i have never seen a single seater bench before, most of our benches are the normal ones. Olso we don't prevent homelessness like this rather we help the homeless and give them support.
