My biggest mistake in life was under estimating the maliciousness of people. You're never the same after a narcissist attack.

People pleaser here, who loves to help and ease burdens. You know what that means? I was easily manipulated and didn't see it coming. It took God to discipline me, help me create boundaries, turn closer to Him, and care less what people thought as long as I wasn't trying to hurt anyone. Without God, I would be dead in the water.

I played this slowly and took so many notes. I went back to a narcissist and it almost killed me. Your videos are helping me along with me being in my word daily. He was an ungodly influence and I forgot who I was. ❤

If your with or around narcissists just get out. Forget trying to find biblical reasons of why you need to be the better person. You've done your time. You stood by, you took the abuse, you did your time.
You don't need to make them see anything, make them understand, you don't need to wait until some sort of truth becomes known. Get out. Stop waiting for a miracle, magical intervention, some sort of divine sign, just get out. Leave. Don't give notice, don't wait until it gets harder to leave, don't wait for life/finances to be perfect, just leave.
Choose you not them. Let your anger fuel your exit.

I think Kris hit the nail on the head when she said, "Sitting around hoping & praying for the abuser to change inwardly is a sign of Christian codependency."

It really rubs me the wrong way when people, especially self-proclaimed Christians, use the "forgiveness" card to enable abusive behavior, let alone as a guilt tactic by accusing the rest of us of "unforgiveness, " because we choose not to trust our abusers again. Either these people clearly did not read the Bible, or they're just cherry-picking their favorite verses & create a whole doctrine out of them, while simply leaving out the rest.

One of my favorite sentences from one of these people (favorite as in sarcasm), is, "But what if you're the only one who can share Jesus with this person?" Newflash: If someone has ALREADY VIOLATED your Personal Boundaries by acting abusive towards you, it is NOT YOUR JOB to stick around & try to MINISTER to those people. God will send SOMEONE ELSE to handle that part. When Potiphar's Wife made multiple passes at Joseph, he DIDN'T STICK AROUND trying to minister to her. While Joseph didn't carry animosity in his heart toward Potiphar's wife, he KNEW he had to Get The Heck Out of that situation, before it got any worse.

Yes, we as Christians are called to forgive others the way Jesus forgave us, but "forgiveness" DOES NOT require "trust, " NOR does forgiveness mean there Aren't STILL Consequences for sin. God forgave Adam & Eve, but they still weren't allowed back in the garden. God forgave Moses, but he still wasn't allowed to enter the Promised land. There are multiple other examples in the Bible where God forgave, yet he still allowed people to live with the consequences of their sins, & the relationship was forever changed.

Thankfully, I have enough knowledge & wisdom in my Christian faith to know that "Forgiveness" does not require "Trust." But what if I WASN'T? That's the problem. Such a False, Enabling message on "forgiveness" is not only twisting scripture, but is also promoting evil. And it keeps New Christians (who aren't spiritually mature enough to know better) STUCK with their Abusers.

It FINALLY got to the point where I ended up Writing These People Off as well. Sometimes, the enablers have to go, too. Keeping those type of people in your life will do you more harm than good. You know your loyals. Cherish them!

Trust does not equal forgiveness. So true. One thing my dad used to say is „why can’t you just forgive me” „you are just hurting yourself”. When I said I forgave him, he would just take it as the slate is wiped clean and he can go about doing exactly as he did before. It was infuriating as a child and he never apologized or took accountability. We are estranged now. His story is that he doesn’t understand why I’m hurting the family.

I am extremely challenged with bitterness and anger. I am a Christian woman who married a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I feel so mad and used💔

When I learned forgiveness doesn’t mean reconciliation, I took courses on Boundaries and Safe People. I feel like the Aladdin. It’s a whole New World* a whole new point of view. I will never go back to a narcissist. When I recognize them, I shake the dust off my sandals and walk the other way.
The only person I can change is myself.
I thank the good Lord for Kris and other people like her that are teaching us and sharing a healthy way and a godly way to get away and stay all way! Enjoy life. You get old fast. Do what makes you happy.

It is such a blessing to listen to these things for free. ESpecially for people like me who have financial constraints but are looking for any means to just heal and keep on living in the hope that God has a good purpose for my life still.

I really pray for strength, blessings, and profound discernment of God's spirit in your life, Kris. Thank you.

Toxic Narcissistic people can do a complete mind mess, what a powerful word I think that explains why we feel depleted totally empty around them the psychologist Sam vaknin says the Narcissist is dead wanting you too dead, living with one is like in death cult nothing works out everything dies your ambitions, dreams, friendships😢

Your journey of God working in you is spot on with how God brought me out safely from a 32 year marriage with a narcissist . . .
He changed/healed me and helped me see my contributions to the unhealthy cycles.
Once I was changed and my then spouse chose not to make changes is when God said it was time to leave. I did and have been blessed in so many ways.
