2025 Cupra Formentor review - updated e-HYBRID PHEV tested!

And there's more to it than just having usable electric driving capability, and the expected low fuel use that comes from a high-tech hybrid powertrain like this.

It's also got 200kW of power and 400Nm of torque, space for five people, a reasonable boot (better if you don't buy the PHEV), and a terrific new infotainment system that makes it far more liveable than the last version.

It arrives in Australia in 2025, and you can expect an array of models to choose from. But will the e-HYBRID plug-in electric model be right for you?

Why would anyone pay so much for a Cupra when you can buy a 3 year old used Rav4 Hybrid with 70, 000km for only $50k. Also you can now buy a leather seat Toyota Camry for only $60, 000 drive away. Chinese manufacturers better watch out, Toyota is gunning for you.
