A protest I could get behind. We should all really get behind seeing as we all live on the same and only home we have.

In mainland China we plant trees instead of yelling it out loud, its just a waste time.

I hope the HK government take a step forward than planting trees everywhere. HK already has enough trees but there's no wrong planting each year as many trees got destructed in natural weathers like that typhoon HATO. I hope the government can come up with a better idea!
Like myself, a Hong Kong citizen+ 13 yr old kid, if this protest get accepted by the government, then the long-term effect can get brighter than being worse over time

Some HK locals talk mostly English and think that speaking Mandarin or Cantonese is not as "posh" or educated, which I don't really like... I get that they might wanna differentiate themselves from mainland Chinese or Cantonese due to the Chinese government and stuff, but they should never forget their roots and culture

How many of these kids really believe they'll end up at the bottom of the sea instead of a college in 12 years?

So sad they protest it, but most of they can't give up a computer game, a plastic bag, a car to school, or just turn the light off when they leave, a toy not buy for trade of a tree planting... Such a pathetic world we are. Kids like this, I see not future for us human 😭

Renewable energy is hard to be produced in hong kong, the solar panels and wind turbines that are already set up in Lamma island now barely produce any electricity, and hydropower will also be hard as there is not enough water powering it

Why not just to plant more trees instead of doing such useless protest? I mean Mainland China is actually plant more tress in desert(NASA proves this), and the air quality has much improved!
