How to tell if your Internet Service Provider is deliberately throttling your internet speed and slowing down your bandwidth. This is NOT supposed to happen!
Throttling or Bandwidth Throttling is when your Internet Service Providers (ISP) gives priority to some applications over others. In other words, your ISP might give Netflix priority over Hulu so that Netflix is nice and fast in higher quality over Hulu which is slow, buffers and has low resolution. With Net Neutrality all applications are supposed to be equal but is your internet service provider being responsible and playing by the rules?
It's so difficult to tell, but now there is a way so let me show you how!

I don't think my internet providers throttling my bandwidth but what they are doing is once I've used a certain amount they cut the bandwidth because I used too much of unlimited internet even though there's only one console everyone else who lives in the house only uses streaming my bandwidth is about 2-3mbs when I ran a speed test

Hi, I have had a firestick on the WiFi for over 6 months now. Over the past couple of weeks internet speed to the firestick has dropped to a download speed of around 4-6mbps. All other devices on the WiFi are running at 65+mbps. I have tried connecting the firestick through ethernet. I have reset the firestick I have tried everything. The only thing I have found online that it could be is ISP throttling. Has anyone had issues with this before or does anyone have any other suggestions on how to resolve my issue. Thanks

My speedtests are getting alot higher than what i pay for, 100-150 Download- and 10-15 upload, But the thing is the internet is not actually giving me those speeds that the speedtests are saying. I download at around 30, Would an vpn fix this or what do you think? For me it seems like they limit the speed even if i get high speed..

I'm getting 450 megabytes per second downloads. And 50 megabytes per second upload. But yet it take 3 hours to download a simple game on steam. Not just steam any launcher it doesn't matter I can try to download a game on it and it takes hours. it'll do up to like it's Max download speed that it can do. And then back down to zero. And then back up to Max. And then back down to zero

Spectrum throttles. I switch to 400/20 and at the beginning my phone was getting 460mbps downloads via WIFI using Speedtest. After 1 hour they brought it down to 280mbps. My wife’s phone was able to get 480mbps through WiFi the whole day then the next day it was brought down to 280 Mbps just as my iphone. My iPad since I don’t use it too much I’m still getting 440mbps through WIFI.
