The reason Yan dev created 1989 mode is bc it’s what he promised that the final game would be, and I like it more than the actuall game because it’s actually finned, good and interesting, the only thing it’s missing is VA and custom animations to be better than the real game

i've always wondered and imagined what kind of voices 1980s mode rivals would have, it's something like this:

Kaguya - i imagine her having bubbly, cheery and overall a cutesy voice, and high pitched too. it's just the perfect voice for her!

Moeko - because she's a tomboy, she'd sound pretty deep, just not too deep tho. and she'd sound confident all the time.

Honami - the way she acts and talks, she'd definitely have a kinda high pitched voice, and cause she's shy she'd probably whisper most of the time.

Sumiko - just like moeko, she'd sound confident all the time, and because she's an athlete she'd also sound energetic as possible. but i don't think a deep voice would suit her, nor high either. she'd sound like in between, yknow what i mean?

Ritsuko - it's kinda hard to describe how she'd sound like, but to put simply she'd always have attitude in her voice, sound so snobbish and overconfident. basically have a condescending voice. hope y'all get it 😭

Ai - skipping her cause she canonically has a voice

Teiko - i imagine her sounding feminine, mature, and of course gentle, since she's very intelligent and formal.

Komako - since she's basically a japanese concept of ideal woman, she'd sound like how she's described: quiet, timid, like you'd be able to hear the gracefulness in her voice, and of course gentle, kinda like teiko.

Chigusa - her voice is also hard to describe in words, but all i can say is she'd have a voice of a "cool girl", yknow? probably cause of her saying "girl 🙄 " whenever she talks to ryoba. and of course with a mix of flirtatious tone whenever she says stuff like "good boy~"

Sonoko - she's definitely sound serious 24/7, and also a bit monotone, but not too monotone to the point where she sounds emotionless or something. she'd basically sound "cold as ice".

So the last rival is basically like Megami, but is involved with the journalist, whereas Megami is basically the future owner of Akademi and has the headteacher under her control...making both rivals the final and hardest to eliminate within the game...

True ending: Ryoba decided too not sabotage but instead reppace senpai with each male to each rival in matchmaking. Then ryoba burns the evidence and then gets S++ then lives happily ever after. So meaning that's what should we do in Ayano's timeline.
