Hi loves!
Here comes some moments from my winter so far. December was busy and went by so fast. And now it's January and the light is slowly returning to us. Winter really is a time of pure magic mixed with the extreme cold that makes it so hard. I love this time of the year so much. Especially in the night as the stars and northern lights appears on the sky and the trees and the ice makes noise from the cold temperature.

I hope you will enjoy the video! And thank you so much for watching and for commenting!
I wish you all a beautiful start on this new year! ♥ Lots of LOVE!

It’s so beautiful to see everyone from different countries and places come together in the comments like a little family 💕

Dear Jonna, I am an old grandma in Northern California who lives with my husband, Hamilton, and our cats, Bella and Anna. I'm delighted that you enjoy doing your videos, because I find them very healing and beautiful. We had Christmas in Oregon with my kids and saw snow for the first time in many years. Now that I'm old, I have to be careful not to slip, but I loved the experience. My family came from Montana (where they understand -40 degrees) when I was six years old and settled in what is now Silicon Valley. The valley was covered with beautiful orchards when we came to California, pears, cherries, walnuts, apricots, prunes . . . I wish you and your lovely Johan and Nanook a blessed New Year, full of beauty, health, and wonder. Love, Rodean

I love how at the four minute mark she’s joking about being a old housewife and jokes to him to go cut some wood and he very seriously says “yeah I was thinking about that actually” they are so cute and wholesome :)))

Hi, my name is Lisa, I'm a musician from Russia. We're going through very difficult times now, because we don't want to be part of the war so much. My relatives lived in Ukraine and I'm so sorry that we're all friends at war with each other. I want to say that your video helped me get out of fear and sadness, it blows such warm, family emotions that I miss now. It prompted me not to give up, to be in love and start writing music again. I am grateful to God for finding your channel. Good luck to you!

Hallo Jonna, I am 14 years old and I live in Canada! I like to be out in nature with my dog Scout. (He is Golden retriever) I go on the snowshoes and Scout pulls a sled. I saved up to buy a camera this summer and now I take pictures of nature also! I was inspired to create natural earth pigments from your videos. When I went to Iceland I got some black sand and made paint out of it! When I am older I will live someone as beautiful as Sweden! - Meta

Last year my partner gifted me with a pendant from your jewelry store, the andromeda pendant, when I advanced to being a doctoral candidate in my Ph.D. program after beating cervical cancer (get your paps!) and I cried so much. To have and to hold a piece created by you and Johan was a dream come true. On my worst days, your content lifted me out of a deep depression and distracted me from the pain I was in. I am forever grateful for you and him and the work you both do. Sending you so much love from New Hampshire in the US <3

This is marvelous, Jonna. I am an 83 year old grandpa who has always lived in the midwest US, so I am no stranger to snow and ice. we live by a lake and the ice makes sounds as it begins to melt in the spring. Sadly, we never see the aurora and our air is not as crystal clear as your mountain home. I got started with you singing kulning to call the cows. Amazing. God bless you and the joy you bring.

There might be four million of us, but we are definitely all sitting here and smiling, like you said. Your videos bring me so much joy, and a little bit of longing for a life as rich and fulfilling as the one you're living. But mostly I'm just grateful that you're sharing it with us. The place you live is so beautiful, I'll never get tired of seeing it.

My name is Barbara. I'm an older lady in my 60s. I have no family at all. Life has been so difficult since the pandemic began and it's continued till now. I want to leave here and start a new chapter of life somewhere else. I'm fearful of change but I am stagnating and not happy, even to the point of life events which have caused some health challenges too. Your videos are so comforting, Jonna. They help bring me some peace in my daily obstacles.

I can’t imagine how cold Sweden must be in the Winter, but it sure looks beautiful.

Hi, Jonna. My name is Jan and I am from South Africa. Sometimes when I watch your videos it feels like I could start crying. I would love to be able to live in, and so close to nature, as you are. Your passion for life in the north is infectious. So I cry, not because you make me sad, but because I feel nostalgic and so much want to be there as well. Your videos make me feel like I am there and when it ends, and I realize that I am not really there, I am sad. Keep doing what you do. You are a stellar individual and I whish you all the best.

I'm a little late to the party, I felt scared to share this when I first saw this video but here goes... My name's Gwen - I'm a falconer, herbalist, artist, and tree hugger 🙈. I grew up in Canada on a farm, surrounded by nature, and life was good.
Then I moved to the city for work, which is when I really dove deep into your channel, Jonna. You helped me pull myself out of the hole of depression and despair I'd suddenly found myself in. I was so lost. You reminded me that there is *so much more* to this one and only magical life. For a moment, I had forgotten.
I just moved very far north, and I'm happy to be surrounded by nothing but snowy forest, mountains, and endless starry skies.
Thank you for existing 💙

Dear Jonna, for some reason this film made me feel emotional.. I truly love seeing you thrive, weaving threads of your experiences and stories together for us all.
We were all sat there on that ice with you, in spirit. I live in Wales with my children, husband and animals. I'm an artist and would love to come to Sweden one day for an art retreat! It looks very inspiring. Much love and thank you for healing us with your beautiful creations. It's much needed, in this crazy world! And congratulations on your award, of course you won it, you are epic!!

Hello Jonna, greetings from Willow, Alaska. Congratulations on winning your award which is much deserved. I really enjoy your videos so much. As a Vietnam Veteran with PTSD, I watch your past videos when I have an episode and it calms me immensley. You have such a calming voice and the love between you and Johan is beautiful. Your capturing of the Aurora Borealis {Northern Lights} is nothing less than SPECTACULAR, absolutely beautiful. Sometimes, myself and my dog Aurora {a red Australian Sheperd} will sit outside our cabin and watch the lights for a very long time. I actually bought a 65" TV just to watch your videos, I would buy a bigger one but, my cabin is too small, lol. Thank you again. Happy New Year to you and Johan.

Hello
My name is Kerrie Lynn, I’m from Canada. I first discovered Jonna in March 2020, my health wasn’t good. Watching her rejuvenated my spirit and awakened my soul, she’s magical. Her beautiful voice, her amazing paintings, her ability to capture everything through her camera lens in nature and make it all come alive. Sometime it felt like I could smell the rain, feel the cold or the bite of the mosquitoes lol. I’ve always been connected to nature, and shared my love for it with my 4 children. My youngest too is amazed by everything Jonna produces. She loves Nanuk and wants to send him a teddy bear from Canada. We’ve been inspired in so many different ways. Tapping a birch tree, collecting ash, soil and coal from our outdoor fires for painting. We want one day to have a cold dip in the cold winter lake but haven’t managed that one yet. We did have a few saunas this winter and jumped in the snow to cool off.
Thank you Jonna, You helped me heal through my battle with cancer. Many times I’ve fallen asleep to your voice or the ice sounds. Your inspiration has helped me on my hardest days, the days I wasn’t well enough to get out in nature I could watch though your eyes. I’ve laughed with you, cried with you and rejoiced with you. Thank you for all you do. You are a beautiful, kind human with an amazing, magical, soul. For that I am so thankful as feel blessed to have I found you. One day we want a sled like yours and I’d really like to know if you have ever skated?
