Love the concept of limitations. That should be the name of the piece. I'd like to see you make a song out of the two chords you played at roughly 3:50 into the video!

Thank you for this lesson Dylan! You highlighted my biggest struggle as someone who’s been arranging pop songs for a few years which is being stuck with open chords in the first 3 frets! Im excited to use the limitation so I can access more of my fretboard :))

Love this topic. The other day I was messing around with some notes and thought “that sounded Egyptian” so I tried to write an Egyptian song and the final product was something I couldn’t believe that I wrote. I took my time with 2-4 notes on every phrase and it made the song sound more coherent.
